Program Requirements

The Department of Forensic Science offers four programs of study leading to an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science.

-Single Specialization in Forensic Science
-Combined Specialization in Forensic Science and Analytical Chemistry and Instrumentation
-Combined Specialization in Forensic Science and Anthropology
-Combined Specialization in Forensic Science and Psychology

Our programs are specifically designed to provide a solid scientific education, while placing these studies in a forensic context.

These programs include required courses designed to provide the necessary background to understanding how science fits into the legal system which is a unique feature of our programs. Students wanting to specialize in a specific subfield should consult with the Academic Advisor in the Department of Forensic Science to tailor the most appropriate program and course selection for their needs and goals.
